Enjeux et limites d'une production polyphonique vocale au cycle III

Abstract : In France, polyphonic production is developed during key stage 2 in National Education programs in 2008. Its implementation requires some pre-requisite knowledge in singing but also in listening. But which is the interest to make pupils sing into polyphony? Is there any limit to that learning? That report is included in this thought. Having developed a historic part about in polyphony creation, this research develops importance of listening, repertory wealth in vocal polyphony, as well as the method to set up to successly a polyphonic production. Finally, that research shows possible objectives to such learning and difficulties that teachers have to organize such a sequence, which limits its implementation.
