Le scanner laser 3D : reconnaissance de formes et modélisation de déformations

Abstract : When the laser scanning appears more and more in surveyor's job, difficulties persist as for the processing of datas. In order to obtain a satisfying result in terms of plans and profiles, it's essential to model diverse point clouds obtained by the scanner. Recognition of forms algorithms can be used, through softwares like PointCloud, or PointSense Plant developed by Kubit company. The proposed idea consists in adjusting a model CAD on the point cloud, to obtain a coherent model on Autocad. With an impressive efficiency in the industrial sector, particularly as regards the recognition of pipes, this might serve as a basis in a three-dimensional inspection of a structure (storage tank, ceiling collapse, pipes have undergone shocks...). In this way, we can easily obtain a comparison between TTB model (Tel That Built, from the recognition of forms in Kubit) and TTS model (Tel That Seized), consisting of raw point cloud (mesh or not) obtained by the scanner.
