Apport des données satellites radar (SAR-Altimètre) pour la gestion des stocks d'eau en zone agricole irriguée

Abstract : This study aims are to extend altimetry radar applications to small lakes (<100 hectares) then to realize volume estimation of water resources based on combined use of SAR and Altimetry data. To complete this study, an area already used by the CESBIO located in the South West of France has been chosen. Remote sensing data (> 80 high resolution images in 2010) are provided by three low orbit satellites and by RA-2 altimeter since 2002 to the end of 2010. Ground data are collected to Lake Manager over the same period. Results show a reel capacity to observe water level of small lakes in altimetry signal and possibility to estimate variations volume with combining to SAR data.
