Comment améliorer les pratiques des producteurs de bananes, maïs et coco à Mayotte ?

Abstract : Since the departmentalization of Mayotte in 2011, the state implemented a policy whose aim is to increase agricultural production. This work in partnership with the agricultural structures of the territory, aimed to make recommendations in terms of cultural practices of banana production, corn and coconut in Mayotte, through datasheets . In addition, it aimed to describe the practices implemented on the territory. For this purpose, technical itineraries for each of the three cultures were made as a result of interviews with staff in charge of agriculture, as well as experiments on maize during the dry season. Then a sample of farmers 'professional' and not "professional" composed of 20 persons was subjected to a questionnaire in order to identify whether or not a difference in practice between the two groups , but also to reveal a match or not their practices compared with the technical reference route . The results of the survey show only one difference between the two groups of farmers on the use of fertilizers for banana production. This difference apart, we can see that the practices of the two groups are identical. The datasheets are for agricultural technicians and require the involvement of all staff in charge of agricultural support to be distributed to many. If the technicians rely on these specifications, they will permit to collect data from these three productions over the long term.
