Étude des parkings perméables dans le contexte de la gestion des eaux pluviales

Abstract : Flooding is regular in France and can be disastrous. It is linked with soil sealing. The water is forced to flow to storage points which are proportionated to rain having a 10 or 20-year recurrence interval. Though soil sealing is still increasing in France like in Europe. The decree of the 6th July 2011, relative to the water and aquatic life law of 2006, provides the establishment of a facultative storm water tax for impermeable areas. This tax is already organized in several local authorities. A national plan of rainfall management was presented in June 2013 at the council of ministers. More and more, developer contractors and local authorities opt for other techniques instead of main drainage for a sustainable and effective urban storm water management. In this context, ECOVEGETAL®, created in 2000, offers permeable car park, as sustainable urban drainage systems. The performance and the behavior of the three ECOVEGETAL®'s permeable car park systems have been analyzed with different rainfalls in 2012. It was proved a good capacity of absorption and retention of storm water and a delay of rainfalls disposal. However, a computer tool giving the flow rate of these systems is required for the measurement of structures. It will highlight the ability of these products to manage rainfalls. This study enabled the creation of this tool. It is based on several rain simulations going to 210 millimeters height during 6 hours. The tool gives the water disposal of each system after 6 or 48 hours for a height of rainfall chosen. The result depends on the soil humidity and permeability, and on the drain position. A study was run in parallel on a car park of 49 spaces so as to observe the rainfall disposal too, to test the tool and to have a better idea of the parameters to integrate in the tool. This tool will be improved. It has to be used in real situations and to be adjusted to the calculation tables of hydrologists and design offices.
