Évaluation et analyse des représentations des professionnels de santé ambulatoires généralistes au sujet des incrétinomimétiques

Abstract : Incretinomimetics, antidiabetic medicine released into the market in 2008, is two medicinal classes which are very controversial. Indeed, many doubts are raised by the level of tolerance toward them and also the efficiency of these antidiabetic drugs compared to others is debateable. New recommendations about care of the type 2 diabetes have been published in 2012 and 2013. Only incretinomimetics are controversial in these recommendations. In this context, the question is: How do healthcare professionals in ambulatory environments make best use of these two new medicinal classes, when even diabetic specialists can't find a common ground? This work consists of evaluating the varying perspectives and the current knowledge base of healthcare professionals from the Rhône-Alpes region who aren't specialists of incretinomimetics. Results show the misunderstanding and erroneous representations of these medicinal classes by non-specialized healthcare professionals about this. These results question the methods of communication on the new molecules.
