Les enchaînements en triathlon : étude des effets des entraînements d'enchaînements sur des triathlètes en compétition

Abstract : The aim of the study is to know the impacts of chain’s trainning of triathlete’s performances during competitions. We realised 2 different groups : the first was working on chains and the second wasn’t. After 4 trainings, every 3 weeks, we took the results of the differents races: one solo duathlon, one team duathlon and a solo triathlon (total time of triathlon, ranking at the beginning of the third discipline and at the end of the competition, the lap’s time on the last discipline, an interview on the contestants’ feeling about the race and their chains). After the races, we can tell that the trainings haven’t been realised by a lot of triathlets, that’s why the results are not decisive. Nevertheless, the present graduates during the trainings saw a huge improvement about their preparation before the race (equipment and psychology) and appreciate more everyparts of the competition.
