Analyse critique de l'équilibre occlusal de 20 cas traités par multibagues au service d'odontologie du CHU Pellegrin (sous-section Orthopédie Dento-Faciale)

Abstract : We realized an epidemiological clinical study at the University Hospital of Bordeaux to highlight the occlusal shortcomings of our multi braces treatments. Twenty patients who were treated and deboned at least for three months took part in the study. An analysis was performed on an articulator to judge the main criteria of completion of the occlusion (static and dynamic). Secondary criteria were also studied. The static occlusion criteria were satisfactory. Dynamics appeared to be perfectible. We concluded that the dynamic criteria were not optimal with predominantly posterior prevalence, making us conclude that the need for increased vigilance from the practitioner to these elements is primordial.
