Rythme veille-sommeil et état de vigilance : influence sur l’évaluation cognitive des sujets Alzheimer

Abstract : This study intends to demonstrate the influence of sleep disorders and alertness on the cognitive performance of people with Alzheimer's disease and to subsequently question the reliability of speech and language tests. Tasks evaluating different cognitive domains were proposed to 19 Alzheimer's subjects at two different times in the same day. We also designed two questionnaires for caregivers to assess the sleep quality of their patients. Although results are not significant because our sample was too small, they do show an influence of these two parameters in relation with the specificity of the cognitive task.
