Groupe de communication et approche écologique de la prise en charge orthophonique des patients traumatisés crâniens : étude de cas

Abstract : Traumatic brain injured patients often suffer from communication disorders. Those impairments are particularly visible in ecological situations of everyday life and they have an impact on social, familial and professional intercourses. A patient just arrived in the rehabilitation area of the CMPR Château Rauzé (33) who suffers from communication impairments was offered sixteen sessions of role playing situations in ordinary context and with unawared people, in a communication group rehabilitation composed of four patients and two therapists. These sessions allowed to work verbal and non verbal communication, pragmatical interactions and more precisely verbal initiative, eye contact and informative discourse speach. The results show that communication performances of our patient have improved. Our research shows that ecological communication therapy can be useful.
