Qualité et pérennisation de données pour la communication mass-mailing

Abstract : Within the years, the Graduate Institute has acquired and managed high information on their contacts and partners. The data, has been gathered and centralised under a single and shared database called “Salesforce”. Salesforce is a Custom Relationship Management, a complete tool which allows the Institute to handle all kind of communication by emails, the Alumni and the communication campaigns. However, the lack of control of this new tool has led to quality issues on data with direct emerging effects. Indeed, the communication strategy has a tendency to head for target mass emailing, mainly for economic and ecologic reasons. With the variety and the development of information sourcing, it is now necessary to reach quality in order to be successful. The goals of this project are the following: - Defining technical rules to describe the data - Doing the “cleaning” - Making durable the database by increasing the data volume with a focus on the quality As example, we will process a mass communication via the News of the Week project. This newsletter will be created from the design, to finish with the statistics tracking analysis. The results will bring to a selection decision (how to orientate the newsletter, target change, new design).
