Gestion de la dimension verticale d'occlusion dans les réhabilitations totales adhésives

Abstract : The full-mouth rehabilitations using adhesive techniques are a conservative approach to treat severe tooth wear. Increasing the vertical dimension of occlusion is necessary to provide space for the restorative material. It aims at recreating an adequate occlusal scheme and at re-establishing esthetics and function. Consequently, it minimizes the need of invasive procedures and prevents from further tissue destruction. This minimally invasive treatment strategy is safe but has to be led carefully in order to avoid the occurrence of dysfunctions. A rigorous protocol based on the assess of numerous clinical criteria is essential.
