Le jeu pour favoriser la prise de parole en classe de langue

Abstract : The researches led for the writing of this report highlight that numerous studies were already led on the theme of the use of the game in the ducational practices. He can turn out to be a great and effective tool when he is set up according to very precise conditions. In class of language, he it favors the speaking. The objective of this study is to show how the game can become a tool of learning of a living language by favoring the communicative act. To do it, the used methodology concentrates on the use of the role play which, from the made researches, seems to collect a number of characteristics allowing to favor the communicative act. Two experiments were led. The first one on classes of first year of high school and the fourth. It was a question of feigning a phone conversation between two friends who wish to organize their next weekend together. The second, on the third class, consists in feigning a conference on the eco-public-spirited gestures. The results show that the age, in particular the phases of the adolescence, turn out to be a key datum to be taken into account for the success of the role play. Should the opposite occur, he can turn out counterproductive.
