1,2,3, L’histoire commence…
Further to my meeting with Benjamin, a young child having autistic characteristics, I recount his process inside a group of psychomotricity. During several weeks, we play together symbolic games, in a ritualized well-defined session, through characters and scenario. By way of games, we personify, we test out, we feel, we go through several feelings, which are problematics with autist children, but symbols of a body-psychological connection as well. A question then will emerge which will guide my writing: how do symbolic games encourage the appearance of emotions? It is through my corporeal engagement, my immersion in games close to children and a work on content and style analyses, a posteriori, that I reveal you my thought.
