Analyse des difficultés liées à l’administration de formes pharmaceutiques par sonde de nutrition entérale dans le cas de la gastrostomie et proposition de préparation hospitalière

Abstract : Objective: To change the formulation of a drug in order to adapt it to the administration through a gastrostomy tube. Method: Analysis of drugs prescribed to patients under gastrostomy over a year at the University Hospital of Grenoble, focusing on drugs administered through the gastrostomy tube and whose administration is problematic. Results: The analysis put forward a list of 8 drugs. Of these 8 drugs, Effexor® was selected to develop an oral sustained release suspension form of venlafaxine. A qualitative formula of the final preparation has been proposed in this thesis. Conclusion: In order to develop this service to patients, the establishment of close collaboration between academia and the hospital is essential. The sharing of knowledge and infrastructure will fill the therapeutic void left by some pharmaceutical industry for economic reasons.
