Remédiation phonétique et phonologique en FLE par une approche multimodale chez les apprenants japonophones

Abstract : The present study aims to evaluate automatically the phonetic realization of consonants clusters in French by a group of Japanese speakers, before and after an intensive multilevel pronunciation training through a Silent Way approach. The evaluation is based on automatic phonetic alignments on target words, pronounced by the speakers the most spontaneous way we could. Some hypothesis on the phonetic realization of consonant clusters were first stated based on a study of Japanese phonology, and on a case study of a Japanese speaker, speaking in French. Eventually, a qualitative study on the feelings of the participants during the training was made, in order to evaluate the emotional impact of such an approach on a group of Japanese speakers.
