Conception et fabrication des obturateurs palatins : approche sur l'apport de l'assistance par ordinateur

Abstract : The losses of Palatine substances can be acquired, congenital or traumatic. The conventional palatal obturator allows to organize the dental rehabilitation with the subdivision of the oral and nasal cavities. The steps of conception and manufacturing are similar to the classic prosthetic method of removable prosthesis (dental impression, tray, polymerization). With the development of the computer-aided design / manufacturing (CAD-CAM) in dentistry, numerous stages of the prosthetic method can be improved. This study will aim at estimating the contribution of these new techniques on patient care.
