Comment élaborer collectivement un pôle d’échange multimodal dans des situations d’incertitude ? Approche pratique selon le point de vue d’un bureau d’étude : cas de la gare du Parc International des Expositions

Abstract : This report aims to understand the design of an exchange hub by an engineering office. It is based on the example of the station of the International Exhibition Park, and, based on its analysis according to the participatory observation method, shows that the actors involved in the development of the pole must conceive i.e. program, draw and dimensione collectively. The difficulties mostly appears on situations of uncertainty about the actors' intentions, but also about actor’s own strategies in front of the group. The following example shows that after conception desicion happens, which aims here at the consensus and the evolution of the design. The position of expert of the design office is questioned through the choice of such design and its decision-making role is explained. The report concludes on ways to improve this study, and more generally on exchange hubs studies, with no generalization but rather an illustration by the example of the Parc des Expositions, in a context specific to the Greater Paris Express.
