Mesures de la spatialisation pour la sonorisation automobile

Abstract : After a presentation of the usual models of human spatial hearing, an acoustic analysis of typical automotive audio systems shows why the conditions inside a car cabin differ from the recommendations for the stereophonic reproduction of a sound field. To find the parameters for a processing of the audio signal that would increase the spatial fidelity more easily in that context, some models of auditory lateralization are applied to acoustic binaural measurements carried out in vehicles, and their results are analyzed and compared to those in the literature.
