Apport du toucher thérapeutique pour la prise en charge de la douleur en psychomotricité auprès d'adultes ayant la maladie de Huntington

Abstract : Suffering is a life-long experience in our existence. It acts as an alert to warn the body about a potential threat. But when pain has been lasting for too long, it ceases being a warning and starts having an impact on every aspect of the being. This is referred to as chronic pain. This lingering pain is extremely obvious to the people suffering from the Huntington disease. Hence suffering brings severe consequences, be they physical, psychological, affective or even relational. But what kinds of pain can these patients endure? Is psychomotricity able to act on it and allow well-being through treatments such as massage therapy?
