Les facteurs de réussite de l'apprentissage du Français Langue Étrangère : cas particulier d'élèves anglais et espagnols

Abstract : This work is about French learning in High School. Spanish and English students from A-Level have been studied in order to compare their French and to identify how they succeed their French learning. French and Spanish languages are latine languages while English has germanic roots. In England, during the A-Level, students have more time to study languages than in Spain. Moreover, English teachers use computers and mobile phones in class while in Spain textbook are still essential. To answer the questions, Spanish and English students's oral productions have been recorded and analysed. These learners have also answered some questions about their motivation and the education system of their country. Finally, it has been discovered that the mother tongue is not tne only factor to succeed in learning a language, motivation and the time offered by the school to lear a language are also important.
