Évaluation des impacts des espaces végétalisés urbains sur la santé des habitants

Abstract : The aim of this project is to evaluate the impact of urban green space on the inhabitant health at a neighbourhood scale. We conceived a generic and replicable methodology, which, thanks to an analysis focus on the uses, identified the strengths and the weakness of a territory. It will allow a decision-making or contribute to conceive a public health plan. In the future, this approach will complete the HIA. We tested this methodology on a neighbourhood in Angers. The first results are encouraging. We’ve characterized the physical environment and collected data upon health, perception, access and uses in green spaces. This work will go on in 2018-2019. The aim is to confirm the first result with causality data and to analyse if frequentation of urban green space depend on the quality aspect of the vegetation. The recommendations will be formulate at the end of these works.
