Substitution routière. Les enjeux de la réalisation d’opérations exceptionnelles pour une entreprise de transport de personnes

Abstract : Train is an important transport means for Parisians. Ile-de-France railway network is the most used in France. RFF and SNCF are engaged in a required program to modernize it. The railway maintenance and improvement operations grow steadily. This growth makes the traffic interruptions more frequent and longer, and train replacement by bus is an efficient alternative offered to the clients. This report is written as part of the Master 2 TURP, and relies on the experience of five major operations managed between April and August 2014 by Keolis Essonne - Val-de-Marne and its subsidiaries. The first and second chapters present Keolis entities involved, and the context in which these train replacements occur, the third chapter explains the principles of production of these operations and finally, the last chapter points out the stakes of exceptional operations for a public transport company.
