Déconstruire les stéréotypes de genre grâce à la littérature de jeunesse : « Fille ou garçon, petit ou grand, ce n'est pas important ! »

Abstract : The subject of this study is gender equality among kids at school. Through our experimentation we tried to determine if the use in class of children's books that feature unstereotyped storylines and/or characters could have an effect on 7 to 11 years old pupils' gender perception. There is currently a lot of research on gender stereotypes, in regard to their effects on the construction of gender identity in particular. This study has a professional objective : as primary school teachers, it is essential to use teaching methods that ensure everyone's success, but that also allow everyone to build their own identity.
