Les habiletés citadines : repenser les stratégies d'adaptation des villes aux changements climatiques à partir des expériences habitantes dans les quartiers populaires d'Hafia à Conakry (Guinée)

Abstract : At the time the effects of urbanization and climate change are already leading numbers of climate changes and changes in urban fabric in both North and South, climatic variations(urban climate and climate change) already impact and will impact the daily life of citizens in urbanized territories. The urban environment more vulnerable, is subject to urban heat, the rising sea levels, increased risk of flooding, its embrittlement (biodiversity, pollution) due to various factors: densification, soil mineralization, loss of landscaped areas etc. Many research interest in these phenomena with different spatial and temporal scales. At the city level, it focuses specifically on the urban heat island in the study of urban microclimates. While some urban projects take into considerations these microclimate settings, international and national institutions are planning new action strategies (climate strategic plans, agenda 21, conference and international studies). But these approaches top-down hidden the part of the inhabitants practice in a multiscale approach of urban microclimates. In considering the adaptation of cities "as belonging to the interaction of social systems with long-term environmental changes" (Blanc and Laigle, 2015), we propose to reintroduce the sensitive dimension of the urban experience and the strategies made by citizens to adapt to climate situations they live and they will live. "The climate and energy implies to think the conjunction between a plurality of physical and social phenomena" (Molina, 2015). In this paper, we propose to rethink the adaptation of cities to urban climate and climate change from climate experiments inhabitants in popular neighborhoods of Hafia (Conakry), where mainly informal production tools are appropriate by the citizens who assemble and disassemble the city.
