Lymphome B non Hodgkinien à localisation mandibulaire : à propos d’un cas clinique

Abstract : Primary lymphomas of the mandible are rare, they represent about 0.6% of extra-nodal non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. We received a patient describing localized pain similar to electric discharges with lip and chin paresthesia on the right side. A CT scan revealed a large osteolysis of the right mandible. A biopsy of the lesion was performed, revealing diffuse non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymphoma with large BCL2 + cells without lymph node involvement. Early diagnosis leads to effective therapy. But it can be very difficult to establish, because of the non-specific clinical and radiological symptomatology, and very rarely after isolated hypoaesthesia of V3. Through a case study compared to review of published literature, the objective is to allow the dentist to refine the differential diagnosis before biopsy, and to adapt his treatment by optimizing the surgical procedure in order to avoid unnecessarily invasive and mutilating surgeries.
