Place des empreintes pour prothèse fixée implanto-portée : de la technique conventionnelle vers des systèmes d'empreintes optiques en technique directe

Abstract : This work shows the evolution of conventional impressions towards the routine use of intra-oral optical impressions in the manufacture of customized implant abutments. In a first place, we position implant impressions in the prosthetic chain and present them. In a second step, we will describe the conventional prints which are currently very used routinely. In a third part, we focus on optical impressions by describing the cameras in particular. A fourth part will be dedicated to describe the accuracy of optical impressions, only in the in vitro context because no study allows to study such precision, today, in the case of direct optical impressions. We will also describe the contributions and the limits of these digital prints. Finally, our last part will be devoted to the description of clinical cases of the literature.
