Voyage au Japon au XIXe siècle. Étude des illustrations de Promenades japonaises réalisées par Félix Régamey

Abstract : Promenades japonaises is a book written by Guimet and illustrated by Félix Régamey. It's on this last, artist, painter and illustrator to XIXth century that this study suggests to linger, leaning on the illustrations to the book Promenades japonaises. This study suggests to travel, and to discover an artist unrecognized during his route to Japan. In this route to Japan, we discover a new Japan, multifaceted and cultural exchanges importants. Régamey and Guimet invite the reader to Yokohama, then in an excursion between Yokohama and Enoshima, to the discovery Japanese, temples and of theatre : kabuki.
