Réponse à une problématique sûreté majeure d'une INB : qualification à la chute de colis de déchets radioactifs

Abstract : The CEDRA nuclear facility has been created to receive and store radioactive wastes. A unit composed of engineers aims to insure the good operation of the facility with a permanent industrial operator and various companies involved in diverse operations. The facility is checked by many inspections of the Nuclear Safety Authority. Different assignments have been defined in various areas : safety, radiation protection, security, and environment ... Several missions have been introduced in this report, particularly a main one. It concerns a direct request of the ASN, and I worked to 2 years on it : we have to prove the resistance to the fall of our different types of packages of radioactive wastes. The other tasks are related to the operation of the facility. For instance, we have to draft documents about commissioning for a radioactive waste package investigation cell, to reinforce the integrity of waste packages, to update the safety documentation.
