Intervention ergonomique dans la réorganisation du flux des pièces réparables du matériel

Abstract : The main characters of this study are logistics agents distributing repairable parts at the Technicentre industrial SNCF de Rennes. Its aim is to improve their work conditions through the optimisation of the health and performance ratio. After a review of the Lean method widely used in the industrial sector and its possible link with ergonomics, the ergonomic intervention approach is developed. First, this approach is based on the analysis of the logistics train in its working situation in order to understand its effects on agents’ health. Then, it highlights challenges of optimal performance and exposure of operators to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) risks. Finally, the study focus itself on the analysis of the physical workload by measuring the strengths exerted by the agents and on flows optimisation related to this activity. Its results feature a constraining work activity, especially while agents attach the rolling bases to the "little train", which can generate MSDs. However, in this particular case, the results obtained cannot be generalised due to the small number of subjects observed and to the diversity of their profiles. Yet, improvements which would enable the optimisation of the flow of repairable parts (MANUT application) are about to be completed. Others enhancements are expected thanks to the upgrade of some equipment such as the installation of Kanban, the redevelopment of stations and the orientation of rolling bases. These transformations should facilitate to limit stocks and handling, but it is too early to assess its benefits and limits.
