L'aménagement paysager d'une île aux Bahamas : un défi avant tout logistique

Abstract : Working on a construction site on an isolated island in the Bahamas for a French company involves multiple and exceptional constraints. Drawing on the ongoing work of Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, this thesis develops the logistical constraints encountered and the actions taken to limit their impact on production. The logistics process associated with the Ocean Cay Marine Reserve construction site includes all stages of packaging, transport and routing combined with transport and customs administrative formalities for each stage. The international and island factors will have a very significant time impact on the project. The preparation of the site and the daily monitoring of the site are therefore the priority action levers for the success of the site. One of Gregori International's most important work package on this site being the planting, it was essential to develop a precise follow-up of the progress of this position throughout the project. The development of a monitoring tool based on Excel was chosen and explained in this paper.
