L'humour au-delà des frontières : traduction du gyagu manga Boku to Issho, de Furuya Minoru

Abstract : This thesis analyse the difficulties related to the translation of humor from one language to another (japanese to french), in the field of gag manga. We will examine several theories and methodologies of translation (from Umberto Eco, Jacqueline Henry), to try to have a deeper understanding of the essence of translating humor from one culture to another, along with the analyze of official translations of different manga. To conclude, I propose to put into practice all the theories and methodologies previously discussed by translating into french the first book of the japanese gag manga Boku to Issho, written by Furuya Minoru.
