L’influence de la motivation sur les stéréotypes de genre en Éducation Physique et Sportive

Abstract : Gender stereotypes are really present in our society, we can observed them in the world of work, school, or sport environment. They influence the behaviour and choices of the students, especially for the selection of the sport they want to practice. In our society, some sports would be more attributed for boys like football or rugby while other sports are more thought for girls as dance or gymnastics. Finally, the school is affected by these stereotypes and teachers must fight against them to encourage equality between men and women. For this, teachers need to find solutions to change attitudes and mentalities towards their stereotypes. Motivation and pleasure can be one of the solutions to overcome this society issue.
