Y a-t-il des différences de définitions de l'EPS en fonction des générations de professeur EPS ?

Abstract : The activity of the physical education teacher (PE teacher) is governed by many factors which influence him. Some factors are more obvious than others. If some people consider the physical education as a performance activity, others can give less importance about performance in favor of the success of all students. But it is interesting to pay attention on mechanismes which enable teachers of different generations to define their discipline. PE teacher can play different roles : from pedagogue in school to competitive coach in club, from adherent for leisure or occasional adherent to top athlete... As much possibilities who show the diversity of PE teachers. Each PE teacher has evolved thanks to his student experience, his University education and his experience in the professional world in relation or not with the federal organization. It seems important for us to bring to light these factors who influenced PE teachers in their personal definition about their discipline.
