La construction de l'avis de lecteur : du « carnet de lecteur » au « cercle de lecture »

Abstract : Our research concerns objective reading and the subject reader. To work on this, we focused on two work tools : the reader’s book and the reading circle. Indeed, in order to understand a text, we want pupils to practise their oral and writing skills. In this way, pupils will be able to have an objective reading to understand a text. In the reader’s book, students write their first reading’s hypothesis. Thus, the reader’s book becomes a support for the reading circle. During this circle, pupils can discuss and share their hypothesis which can stay the same or evolve throughout the conversation. By this fact, pupils use different reading comprehensions: literal comprehension, aesthetics commitment, analysis, and critical analysis (HEBERT, 2004). During the reading circle, pupils speak about their hypothesis to compare them. However, pupils search more to be agree rather than to disagree. After the circle, students write down, in their reader’s book, their feelings and the preservation or the evolution of their opinion. Our methodology has been built so that we could measure the effects of these devices elaborate from the positioning of the pupils.
