Diagnostic écologique des surfaces agricoles semi-naturelles de la Matheysine : cartographie et mise en place d'une méthode d'évaluation des enjeux écologiques

Abstract : The federation of municipalities of Matheysine is a territory of 43 municipalities established around a plateau and alpine valleys, typical by its agriculture largely based on permanent grasslands. The Sud-Isère’s agro-environmental and climate project (PAEC) in which it is integrated, initiated in 2015 by the department, must be renewed in 2020, and aims primarily to maintain these productive agricultural areas with numerous ecosystem services.This study is positioned in the diagnosis of the territory and aims to estimate the ecological issues on all permanent grasslands of Matheysine. To do so, a mapping of the habitats is achieved, constituting a base of descritption of ecological stakes of the territory. 67 habitats were encountered during the surveys, of which 24 were of community interest, and 6 were considered as priorities. Different sectors of the territory have very specific ecological influences, inducing particular issues and recommendations. The Beaumont sector, under Mediterranean influence, concentrates most of the dry grasslands of Matheysine, inducing adapted management recommendations.
