Le psoriasis oral, revue de littérature

Abstract : Psoriasis is a relatively common inflammatory skin disease that can manifest in several forms and reach different parts of the body. Cutaneous involvement is well documented in the literature as opposed to the oral involvement. The link between psoriasis, geographic or fissured tongue, is controversial in literature. The objective of this work is to conduct a literature review on oral manifestations of psoriasis, geographic and fissured tongue. Many clinical and histological similarities were described between psoriasis, geographic and fissured tongue in the 67 selected articles. It seems that the geographic tongue is a marker of the severity of psoriasis and fissured tongue may be a consequence of the geographic tongue. But the geographic tongue and fissured tongue can be pathologies independent of psoriasis. If our thesis work provides insights, it does not allow to conclude on the link between these pathologies.
