Classement et valorisation des documentaires jeunesse

Abstract : What is commonly called documentary in libraries corresponds to a work providing knowledge and responding to the curiosity on a particular topic. This kind of document has been unavailable to the youth in libraries for a long time, but this is no longer true. Nowadays, it is rather the opposit, the edition of youth documentaries is in a context of overproduction. With these documentaries flourishing within collections, it has become relevant to sort them efficiently in order to help their search along. Several classification systems can fit this need. Therefore, we wondered about the most appropriate ranking plan to adopt concerning youth documentaries. Similarly, when it comes to their entry into circulation in media libraries, it is often about making them seem valuable to take them off the shelves and loan them more easily. In the same way, we enquired about the best ways to promote theses collections. This dissertation will provide answers to theses questions.
