Résultats histologiques et cliniques des substituts osseux en implantologie : revue de la littérature

Abstract : The international market for bone substitutes has shown improvements with the increasing patients needs. To meet this growing demand, the brands offer bone substitutes with different origins and properties. The objective of this work is to determine the ideal biomaterial adapted to the diverses types of bone defects. In the first part, the biology and physiology of the implant site in relation to bone grafts are treated. In a second part, the histological and clinical results of the literature of the different bone substitutes are studied according to the procedures of horizontal and / or vertical alveolars ridges augmentations. In a third part, these results are listed in the case of sinus floor augmentation.
