L’égalité entre les filles et les garçons en danse

Abstract : School is a place of diversity where boys and girls are not necessarily treated equally. We still observe different stereotypes about gender, especially in Physical Education and Sports. We therefore wondered how to promote equality between boys and girls through dance. In particular, we looked at how our postures, our didactic and pedagogical choices, as young teachers, could or not influence gender equality in our CM2 classes. To do so, we focused our observations and analyzes around three hypotheses. One assumes that the composition of mixed working groups does not promote gender equality. Another one seeks to prove that our teaching posture impacts on gender equality. The last one wants to show that the choice of didactic materials, such as, promote girls and boys equality. The first two hypotheses have been confirmed while the last one only partially. We then discussed these different results by proposing new perspectives.
