Intérêt d’un étalonnage supplémentaire pour la batterie EVALAD : de 18 à 25 ans – Niveau socioculturel III

Abstract : Nowdays, many young people diagnosed with dyslexia and dysorthographia are able to gain access to higher education. However, they still need to benefit from educational adjustements, especially for exams. In this context, speech therapy evaluation is essential. Most of the time, it is done with the EVALAD test. Nevertheless, it’s not specially standardised for a student population, but only for high school population. We made a group of 50 academic students, without written language difficulties, took this test in order to observe if their written language skills were better than the one of high school students. Statistical analysis does not reveal such a difference. Therefore, we can assume that there is no significant difference between the two studied groups, and that a specific standardisation for academic students would not be relevant. However, statistical analysis biases and some descriptive analysis elements in the results, make us think that it might be interesting to follow up this study, with the aim of confirming these first results.
