Les feux de forêt au Portugal : facteurs de production du risque et approche de la vulnérabilité humaine par la mortalité

Abstract : 114 deaths, this is the assessment of the last wildfire in Portugal. This country is historically struck by the wildfire but in 2017 it knows the worst year ever in terms of death. These deaths occurred in two distinct but specific periods: Between June 17th and 24th and between October 16th and 18th. An analysis of the circumstances of these deaths may enable to know some risks factors. Moreover, the mortality analysis in include in the risk analysis through vulnerability. This work consists to create a database about the victims of these wildfire and about the circumstances of the deaths. The study area focuses on the central region of Portugal which has recorded the 114 victims.
