KEAV, Kamp Etrekeltiek ar Vrezhonegerion, un enezenn vrezhonek en ur meurvor gallek

Abstract : This thesis proposes to study KEAV, Kamp Etrekeltiek ar Vrezhonegerion, an uncommon Breton course, by its longevity and its originality - the exclusive use of Breton in all its activities and its organization. Based on interviews with participants and organizers, the author explores its impact on language, culture and social ties. First, the author reviews her experience and that of the people interviewed. Second, she analyzes the originality of KEAV and its contribution to the practice of the Breton language in its activities. Third, she shows how this micro-society is thus part of a dynamic of cultural bloom and strenghtening of social ties. Far from being a withdrawal into a traditional society, participating in KEAV empowers participants to shape a world where cultural diversity and the strength of ties would be aknowleged.
