This dissertation presents a research carried out in a EHPAD (nursing home for elderly people) as part of my last year studying psychomotor therapy. It concerns the subject of copromania, which is the tendency to manipulate excrement andto smear it on walls, objects, or oneself. It is not a well know and studied behavior, despite the fact it is not uncommon for elderly people with dementia syndrome. Therefore, this study aims to shed light on this obscure and taboo subject, bringing together theory and clinical. Its purpose is to try to find solutions to this problematic behavior for both affectedpeople and caregivers, in particular by answering the question : can psychomotor care by "the touching dirt" reduce the copromaniac behavior of elderly people who are affected by it ?
