La surélévation des immeubles, un fort potentiel poussé par un contexte législatif favorable

Abstract : According to national daily press figures, in 2050, 70% of the world's population will live in town. The building heightening which consists in a roof ridge elevation, could become a palliative to the increasing lack of housing in view of the airlines land capacity and could reduce urban sprawl. Benefits seem undeniable, but this operation however raises questions about urban planning law, co-ownership law, construction, but also about property right and the rights attached. Building heightening, still underusing technical in spite of the favourable legislative context resulting from successive reforms, comes up against existing legal and technical constraints which could effect its developpement.
