État des lieux de la prescription médicale d’activité physique adaptée : point de vue Kinésithérapique

Abstract : Health benefits of physical activity no longer need to be proven. In France, doctors can now prescribe physical activity since March 1, 2017. However, very few physiotherapists receive patients with prescriptions of this type. The purpose of this study was to make an overview of medical prescriptions of physical activity. Method : A questionnaire was emailed to doctors (hospital based or general practitioners in private practice) to know their practices regarding prescription of physical activity. Results / analysis: The doctors interviewed in this questionnaire prescribed physical activity. But they did not always refer their patients to physiotherapists. This sample of doctors also had access to training on physical activity. Thus, the analysis of this questionnaire made it possible to verify several hypotheses. Conclusion : The results obtained were interesting. However, given the characteristics of the sample it cannot be extrapolated to all Breton doctors. It lacked in particular the point of view of general practitioners.
