Litiges patients-praticiens: évaluation et règlement amiable par le conseil de l’ordre départemental des chirurgiens-dentistes

Abstract : The settlement of disputes by the Council of the Departmental Order seems to be an amicable way strongly used by patients in the field of dentistry. Indeed, this method of resolution is preferred because of its simple procedure, since it is done by e-mail or registered mail, thanks to its speed of resolution, as the average time is less than one year, and it's freeness. However, despite a large number of claims brought to the CDO, very few minutes of settlement are issued, a large part of which are filed without follow-up. In the majority of cases, mediation leads to conciliation. Nevertheless, the role of insurance companies remains complementary since these two possibilities are often solicited simultaneously.
