Maison médicale de garde de Libourne : évaluation de la satisfaction des patients ayant accès à ce dispositif

Abstract : Introduction: since the 2000s, we have seen an evolution of the Permanence of out patient Health Care (PDSA). To meet the unscheduled demand for health care while improving their work conditions, doctors felt the need to create a new association that would concentrate their accomplishment and objectives under one umbrella the MMGse group. January 1, 2015, the Libourne MMG opens its doors, pooling the area's custody territories and resources. Material and Method: our aim of the study was to assess the satisfaction of patients using Libourne MMG by descriptive and cross-sectional quantitative observational. An anonymous, non-standardized questionnaire based on previous thesis processes was offered to patients consulting at MMG between November 4 and November 13, 2019. The secondary objectives were intended to identify a 5-year review of the opening and to identify avenues for improvement in its operation. Result: analysis was carried out on 252 fully completed questionnaires. The study indicated 92.1% of patients say they are very satisfied or satisfied with the service rendered and 86.5% are very satisfied or satisfied with the time spent at the MMG. Analysis indicated a positive correlation between satisfaction and time spent at MMG, on the other hand, no correlation was found between dissatisfaction and advance consultation costs. In the potential improvement paths, a system determining the order of passage of patients is desired by more than 9% of participants. The 5-year check-up is positive with a good adaptability of the device and an accessibility judged positively by 92.5% of patients. Discussion: 5 years after its opening, the Libourne MMG is an example of the success of the evolution of the PDSA with the satisfaction of its users and the participating sector physicians. In this sense, it becomes a model for similar structural development at the regional and national level.
