Abstract : Screen exposition for young children, is a sensible topic that interest the entirety of the population. But are the parents well informed of the consequences of this use? This work is a qualitative study based on semi-guided talks with parents of children under the age of 5. 12 parents have been interviewed. Screens are considered as a source of knowledge, an opportunity for calm and peace. It has a babysitter role and is good against solitude. It has effect on mental and physical health and has an impact on children behaviour. Addiction risk is frequently discussed. The exposition is certain and it is important to accompany the children through this. the risk is minimized by parents and there is a bit of culpability. Parents say they fear the loss of their children love. Some think they have to be a model for their children and erect limits and boundaries. This study enabled to put light on the disparity of knowledge amoung parents about the risks and the precautions needed. It seems important to remind the recommendations of good use.
