L’impact de la rencontre avec les œuvres sur la créativité des élèves en arts plastiques

Abstract : Creativity is a capacity presents in all individuals. It is nourished by many factors, as environmental ones, linked to the contact we have with the world around us. At school, in art classes, pupils will have to make plastic productions that involve their ability to respond and adapt to a given situation in order to achieve a goal, in other words, to be creative. In connection with the proposed teaching sequences, pupils will be confronted in various ways with artworks, most of the time in the form of reproductions. Chosen by the teacher, these picture of art are related to the creative work asked to pupils. Depending on the status and temporality given to these works within the sequence, it is then necessary to ask ourselves what extent they might influence the pupils' creativity. Indeed, one might thinks that if the artworks are presented at the end of the session, as an extension of the pupils' work instead of before or during it, they could have a direct influence on their productions.
